Dr. Jenessa Lock

Dr. Jenessa Lock grew up in Algona, Iowa, and earned her degree in Biology at Iowa State University before attending the Illinois College of Optometry. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in Optometry. During her fourth-year externships, Dr. Lock had the incredible opportunity to spend six weeks at the Christian Vision Clinic, serving the people of Haiti—a truly life-changing experience.

It was at Illinois College of Optometry where Dr. Lock met and married her husband, Michael. Together, they are the proud parents of five energetic boys: Nahum, Judah, Jeremiah, Zadok, and Elijah.

As a top-notch doctor, Dr. Lock is dedicated to providing personalized care for patients of all ages. She truly believes in treating each patient like family, taking the time to listen and understand their needs. Dr. Lock has also pursued additional training in Myopia Management, driven by her passion to help kids see well now and in the future. Beyond her professional expertise, she has a huge heart for both her patients and the community, always going above and beyond to make a difference.
