Dr. Michael Lock was raised in Packwood, Iowa and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa. In 2004, he graduated from Illinois College of Optometry with a degree in Optometry. Michael was inspired to pursue optometry with the desire to use his trade in impoverished countries. While in optometry school, he took his first medical missions trip to Christianville in Gressier, Haiti.
